give me a hand with this

remember that feeling when u wished u could do smth that u couldn't do at the time u needed it the most? helplessness.. the worst feeling in the world.

Had the first paper for trials today.. maths P3. felt frustrated after exam cos lots of the questions I could do but not quite to the end..aurgh. kinda accepted it dy after lunch with tracy n annette.. vented a bit, then stoned.. feel much better now.

Hey but really gotta thank tracy for the study sessions too.. learn so much from her tutoring =D can actually understand the stuff now .sorry this blog is kinda dense.. lotsa writing n no pics. i’d put up pics but don’t have the cable for hp. will try next time..

Went to the dentist today. found out i grind my teeth when in my sleep so the guy gave me this plastic retainer thingy to wear at night.. haha. Kinda remind me of those plastic fangs i got with that halloween costume when i was a kid. nostalgia.. wish i'd made the most of it when i was a kid. hrmm .i kinda miss home today

caffeine

got home just now n fell asleep. again. need to break this cycle..!! it's terrible.. take naps during the day, then end up sleeping at like 5am.. with 8am class the next day. but somehow just keeps happening. bleh. don't blieve things just happen, so i guess i let it happen =P this is bad. Hrmm. on the way to summit this morn.. had the AND1 streetball challenge at summit’s entrance when drove in (followed jon’s car) so there were lotsa ppl in bball clothes. Smsed my bro to ask if he was coming, but it was early so think he was sleeping.

Anyway, was on choir today, n had PG huddle after service, combined the two pink campuses to celebrate michelle, maureen n tessie’s bday =D awesome. was spose to go for partner’s reception after but had to go for the easter audition thing first.. haha i was a real goofball, was pretty nervous. the songs r a lil unique, so harder to catch the timing n melody at some parts. chris looked so calm tho.. was really impressed. not bad man. Hehe. But guess it went alright ,despite the goofy-ness. joined partner’s reception after right when ps ryan was finishing up.. he said smth like 'are u ready to work?', then ps alex said grace cos they had lunch for us. Hung out with tracy n dorin waiting for jon to finish up his stuff to head back home. Ben ran thru the plucking for ‘my reason’ with me.. if he doesn’t go for ipoh/kampar then gotta play n sing.. raurg, gotta prac more!

Tracy was getting a lil stressed bout the exams.. understand how she feels. Sometimes u'd suddenly get so panicked like u just realize theres so much to study , and is there enough time?? The worst is when u suddenly wake up with that feeling.. like a heartattack. Not a healthy way to start ur day. Haha. Well, see u in the next post.

the pan that peter flew.

so, had a pretty long day today. went for class .. bleh got back my chem practical paper. it was alright, but kinda disappointed . made some careless mistakes =P it's not kiasu-ism..! really! haha. oh wells.

hrmm oh yeah then went to the hub for set up n soundcheck.. played two of my songs at cc new sem party thing. whoa. was pretty nervous before, but playing it thru with aaron n double checking with the arrangements n stuff before really helped alot. calvin n the team did an innuendo song n i was after. it was good =) aaron, in his stylo-milo way, did an awesome job on acoustic. haha. peddle thingy. after the ppl left, hung w bryan, lucas n ben, n the result of tht playing on this page's music player. haha. had actstream prac after.. all in all a long, good day :)

read between the lines

whoa. took a nap just now.. it's been a while since i slept before dark.. this was close to being comatosed .

owh thanks to evan for teaching my new stuff at ACTS kids music prac yesterday! played for the first time in ACTS kids today, and the kids are so adorable! this lil girl, alicia, has got my heart in her lil grubby hands. haha. it's their simple faith, w their really innocent way of praying.. shut their eyes real tight. could leave dy after praise n worship ended, but stayed thru their bible lesson n all.. was on choir as well so had to hustle backstage to join them again at alter call, but it was worth it :) every so often its good to b reminded the child-like faith

hrmm besides that.. walked with tracy n phebe to carrefour after church.. it was super sunny. calvin gave us a ride half way. grocery shopped n checked out a flower clip thingy trace was telling about in subang parade, only to find it was actually at the trinket market thingy outside carrefour. haha oh wells. chilled at dome as it rained outside. joy ended up giving phebes n i a lift home, as tracy headed to lee hom's concert now =D take lotsa pics girl!

btw, my bro, azian's in kl dy =) i've missed u!

broken ankles and GIG kuching

haha. darn. had a blur moment today =P my housemate (joanne) - not taiwan joanne my ex-housemate, this one's from malacca- got knocked down by a car today! man, it's a big shock . just found out a while ago from adele. wanted to sms to ask if she's ok or if she needs anything..

me:hey joanne.. are u ok? heard u got knocked down by a car today.. are u alright??

joanne: what??

erm, long story short, i had the wrong joanne :P haha. she's from kuching n my coursemate, but not at all the joanne that got hit by a car. tak god joanne is alright =P got a broken ankle in the hospital, but she says she's ok. hopefully there'll b no complications .. she should be out again in a few days.

other news is, we're just back from the GIG kuching, which was great! wow was really awesome =D hehe. arrived fri night w the team from bethany came picked us up. felt kinda funny to be doing a GIG in a place that's so familiar, kinda like being a visitor to ur own hometown. it was held at good news church, which is like just down the roundabout from my house n din get to go home the whole time. but that's ok, will be back again for april hols =)

anyway, they picked us from the airport (which looks so much like KLIA now) and brought us to bethany house to put our stuff. went for dinner at king centre .. kolo mee! haha it was fun to see the others so interested in the food.. ben ordered like one kolo mee n a bowl of smth else, then ordered another kolo mee but couldn't finish it. the bethany team were real friendly and hospitable.. wow. really blew me away. carol, daphne, sophie n i stayed in ps chelli's place, so din really get the chance to really hang out so much with them, but when we left, one of the girls ruth actually wrote these individual goodbye notes for us.. haha it was really sweet =) calvin n pastor stayed in ps chelli's place too n the rest of the team were in bethany house. got up at 5 the next morn.. cos din want to make pastor wait for us to shower n all to go for session. got ready by 7 but who knows we only left the house at 8. haha. at least it gave us some time to have our bible reading n got to chat with ps chelli n aunty may. got to gnc n had workshop in the morn with pastor n calvin.. they shared on relationships n fellowship. had a break in between so got to go around n talk with the ppl there.. was so sleepy by then think i sounded really blur. haha. oh wells. finished up the session n we moved upstairs to soundcheck n prac. it was really an awesome time.. prayed n by the time we ended i thought it was like 4.30 or 5pm.. turns out it was only 2.30 ! haha.. amazing. went out for drinks n went back to the house. showered n hung out with che chung n the others there in front of the tv.. next thing i knew, was asleep on the sofa. the concert that night was amazing.. was really blessed tho we were the team there to minister. azian came by to say hi, but din stay long.. miss him. met mit n sam when we arrived there that night, n they joined us for prayer. met some of the others from embacy n mad cow too; uncle kest, unc mervyn.. it was good. was so ready to eat by the time it ended cos it was a long day. broke fast at expert cafe where they've got pretty good food.. haha but it was kinda pity cos couldn't eat the stuff with meat.. sio bee.. kompiang.. beef noodles.. had the dem miang wu (is that how u spell it?) n gave all the lil fish ball n meat ball thingies to john yen. it was good tho =) sun morn we did a session in gnc again n ps kenneth preached a great msg bout 'excepts'. went back to pack after n ps chelli n che chung brought 4 of us n calvin around kch. felt like a tourist cos got to go to places i din really bother to go to when i'm back home.. like the cat museum. haha man haven't been there since that field trip in grade 5. it was really fun =) got back to the house n it was time to leave. sigh . all of us felt pretty down to go .. we really had a great time. slept thru the whole flight back n woke up super blur. brenda, ernsuey, albert n the rest came to fetch n went for dinner. broke fast with this lil strawberry choc thing that pastor bought. hehe. then went for dinner together at a restaraunt.. was pretty late by then so went back home n hung out with housemates b4 zzz. back to subang now but won't forget the great time in kch =)

maybe if i keep thinking it enough, it'll come true.

education. it's seems never ending...... kinda like those little bits of ginger u try to pull out of ur food but somehow always seem to end up biting anyway. yeah there's more to life than this but this is a part of life so come on just do it. haha ok besides, i probably couldn't give up.

on other things, i won't go out today. really.. i'm convicted. i won't go out today no matter who calls. i'll study n be good. haha.

knowing urself

dad came to visit today.. went to midvalley to eat n shop together. it was good, got to talk more with him. haha. um not to say that don't talk much with him usually .. but it was fun =) think the only downer with this feeling i had on our way back to 15 . just felt sad. hard to explain... well. guess i'll miss him. haha this sounds weird but when i watched him leave, was scared what if he doesn't come back. anyway. reached home n hung out with the housemates still around.. cos most of them go back to hometown for weekends n only get back late sun nite.. then they had to go out too so was alone at home. din help much with the depression thing. sat in my room/cubicle and studied some.. listened to music.. tried downloading stuff with tracy giving instructions on the phone (failed) ... was half spaced out by the time calvin called to go for a drink. said yes before he finished his sentence. joined him, che chung, joseph n jane. hehe . calvin reasoned tht w our 40-day fast n prayer starting tmr, it was reason to wack good food.. ate at SS2, n after dinner, had tong sui at KTZ (can't go to SS2 n not have that!) got back late n the house was noisy again w housemates watching project Runway .. blissfully noisy :) there are times when u want to b lost in the noise of the crowd.
